I asked Chris to build a wallet for me with very specific instructions about the number of pockets, cornering, the quality of the leather, and the wallet’s orientation.
Chris was a fantastic collaborator. He built according to my specifications and created options that I hadn’t considered. The stitching is exceptional and I have received many compliments about the wallet.
About our leather
Buttero Leather - is our more firm tempered leather option and has a semi-glossy surface. It is characterized by a smooth grain side surface with deep, rich colors. Buttero leather will develop a beautiful patina and darken over time. Due to it's smooth surface it will develop scratch marks rather quickly which will add lots of character to your leather goods.
Pueblo Leather - is our medium to firm tempered leather. It is soft to the touch and has a buffed rugged looking surface. Pueblo leather will absorb oils, then smooth out and darken over time. It is also less prone to initial scratches due to its surface.
Care Guide
Wipe with a clean damp cloth as needed. If leather becomes dry, you can apply a leather balm such as Smiths Leather balm to condition the wallet. Please note that using leather balm on Pueblo leather will ultimately darken the buffed surface.
